The Cheltenham Trust officially opened a new Tourist Information Centre in the foyer of the Cheltenham Town Hall in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, on 10 March 2026. This relocation brings visitor services into a central community hub to make it easier for people to find local information and travel guidance.

The move was timed to make sure the service was fully operational before the start of the Cheltenham Festival. This annual event brings a large number of visitors to the area who often require help with directions and local attractions.

The centre is run by a team of volunteers and is open from Monday to Saturday, between 10am and 4pm. The Trust manages the service as part of its partnership with Cheltenham Borough Council.

The charity is also responsible for looking after other local landmarks, including the Pittville Pump Room and The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum. Moving the information desk to the Town Hall foyer is intended to modernise the service and make it more accessible for everyone in the community.
