The 81st Cheltenham Music Festival has released its official programme for the summer, bringing a mix of classical, jazz, and folk music to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, from 3 to 11 July 2026. This year’s line-up features well-known stars alongside new artists at various venues across the town.
Performers set to appear include cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason, actor Dame Harriet Walter, and folk group The Unthanks. John Wilson and his Sinfonia of London will also perform during the nine-day event, which combines music with theatre and world sounds.
According to Cheltenham Festivals, tickets will go on sale to members on 19 March 2026 at 10am. The general public can purchase tickets starting on 26 March 2026 at 10am.
Artistic Director Jack Bazalgette said the goal of the festival is to bring all kinds of people together to celebrate the exciting future of classical music in all its variety. The event has been a part of the town since 1945 and continues to offer live music experiences for the local community.
