The Friends of Castle Park group is hosting a family-friendly event in Colchester to celebrate local green spaces on Saturday 25 July 2026. The Love Your Park gathering will take place on the meadow near the Roman Road entrance, featuring traditional Punch and Judy shows performed by Professor Addrian.
This event is part of the national Love Parks Week campaign, which is organised annually by the charity Keep Britain Tidy to encourage community appreciation for parks. The local festivities are being co-ordinated by the volunteer group in partnership with the Colchester City Council Park and Recreation team.
