Residents in Crawley, West Sussex, are preparing for a shift in the weather as cold and frosty conditions on Saturday, 14 March 2026, give way to rain and strong winds. According to the Met Office, the area will see temperatures drop as low as -2C overnight before more unsettled conditions arrive.

Sunday, 15 March 2026, is expected to bring outbreaks of rain with a 40 per cent chance of rain during the afternoon. The town will also experience strong wind gusts reaching up to 35mph, which may affect local travel and outdoor plans.

This change in weather is expected to be short-lived as much warmer conditions move in early next week. By Wednesday, 18 March 2026, temperatures in the town are forecasted to rise significantly to highs of 16C.
