On 17 March 2026, the Safer Crawley Partnership awarded £5,000 to the Crawley Town Community Foundation to help teenagers across Crawley, West Sussex. This money is being used for a project that identifies and talks to young people who might be at risk of being taken advantage of or getting involved in crime.

The outreach work is mostly taking place in the Bewbush area, where staff hold weekly sessions to meet with young people. While the foundation usually uses football to get people interested, they have also been meeting with students one-to-one in schools during school hours.

The partnership that provided the money includes several local organisations such as the Crawley Borough Council, West Sussex County Council, Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, the Probation Service, and the NHS. These groups work together to support charities that can provide safety and guidance to the community.

This program is set to run until 31 March 2026. It is part of a larger effort to address youth concerns in the area through activities and direct support.
