The Manor Royal Business Improvement District is holding a major jobs fair on March 6, 2026, to connect residents in Crawley, West Sussex, with hundreds of local employment opportunities. The event will run from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Crawley Town Hall, giving people the chance to meet face-to-face with dozens of employers from the region’s largest business park.
Organisers are working with Employ Crawley and the Crawley Job Centre to host the event, which usually features about 30 different businesses. These companies come from the nearby 540-acre business district, which is home to more than 600 firms across sectors like healthcare technology and logistics.
This recruitment drive comes at a time when national unemployment has risen to 5.2 per cent and youth unemployment is at 14 per cent. By focusing on local hiring, the fair aims to help residents find work closer to home and reduce the time it takes for businesses to fill open roles.
The project is supported by several local groups, including Crawley College and the website LoveLocalJobs.com. Many of the employers attending are offered free space at the event to encourage them to hire staff from the immediate area.
