A new four-week dance course for absolute beginners is starting in Crawley, West Sussex, on 5 March 2026. The program, run by the Crawley Bachata Salsa Academy, aims to help local residents build social connections and physical fitness through Latin dance.

Lessons take place at the Sahara Bar, located at 10 Grand Parade on the High Street. The “Zero to Hero” course is designed specifically for people with no previous dance experience, and participants do not need to bring a partner to join the classes.

The cost for a single four-week course is approximately £39. For those interested in learning both Salsa and Bachata, the academy offers a combined eight-class block for £54.

According to the organisers, the sessions are held in a social bar environment to provide a relaxed atmosphere for newcomers. The academy has been part of the West Sussex dance scene for several years and focuses on helping community members boost their energy and confidence through social dancing.
