The Hart Volunteer Centre launched its first community magazine on 26 May 2026, offering a collection of volunteer stories, hints and tips alongside new opportunities for residents. The online publication, created by the team based in Fleet, aims to give a snapshot of life in volunteering today and encourage more people to support charitable organisations across Hart District.

Available now through Simplebooklet, the magazine marks a fresh push to promote community involvement. It highlights experiences from current volunteers and outlines ways for locals to find roles that match their skills and interests. The parent organisation, Hart Voluntary Action, is a registered charity (1119912) and Council for Voluntary Services, also delivering Adult and Youth Counselling, Young Carers Support, a Community Garden, and Hart Health Walks from its base on the first floor of the Hart Shopping Centre and Civic Offices.

Anyone interested in finding out more can contact the centre by calling 01252 627070 or emailing [email protected]. The team operates Monday to Thursday, 10am to 3pm, and works alongside neighbouring volunteer centres in Basingstoke and Rushmoor to cover North and North East Hampshire. You can browse the new magazine directly on Simplebooklet, where it is hosted online.
