Parents and carers of children with special educational needs are meeting in Fleet, Hampshire, on Thursday, 5 February 2026, to share advice and find local support. The get-together takes place at Fleet Town Football Club (Calthorpe Park), Crookham Road, Fleet, GU51 5FA, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.

The event is organised by the Hampshire Parent Carer Network (HPCN), in collaboration with Hampshire County Council (HCC) representatives. Representatives from the Hampshire Local Offer/FISH (Connect to Support Hampshire) will be attending to share information about the new one‑stop website and to help parents find reliable advice, local services and education or therapy options.

This free, drop-in meeting is intended as a relaxed way for people to talk to others in similar situations and pick up information. Representatives from the Family Information and Services Hub (FISH) — part of Hampshire’s Local Offer — will be available to help families find local services for children and young people (0–25).

Hampshire County Council is supporting the Get Together via representatives from the Hampshire Local Offer/FISH as part of efforts to improve the visibility and accessibility of SEND services. Organisers say these meetings are important for families in the Hart district, where local demand for support for children with additional needs is often high.
