Man Charged for Shoplifting at Local Stores in Fleet

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has charged a 46-year-old man from Church Crookham following several shoplifting incidents in Fleet, Hampshire. John Harrison, of Wickham Place, faces four counts of theft from a shop after being arrested on 5 March 2026.

Police received reports that food and wine worth a total of £69.37 were taken from the Sainsbury’s in Fleet and the Aldi in Church Crookham. These incidents took place over an eight-day period between 20 February and 28 February 2026.

Harrison was officially charged on 6 March 2026 and has since been released on bail with specific conditions. He is now expected to appear before the Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 2 April 2026.
