Residents in Fleet have the opportunity to help shape the future of their local park by voting on three potential designs for a new play area at The Views. Fleet Town Council is working in partnership with Fleet BID to replace the existing facility, which has been in use since the 1960s.

The council aims to transform the site into a high-quality, inclusive play environment designed for children under the age of 8 and those between 8 and 12 years old. This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve park facilities, following the recent opening of a new skatepark at The Views on 18 May 2026.

The redevelopment project has an estimated value of £200,000, excluding taxes. Funding is being provided through a loan from the Public Works Loan Board. Construction on the new play area is expected to take place between 4 June 2026 and 31 October 2026.

While the tender submission process closed on 11 May 2026, the council is seeking public feedback to inform the final selection, with a contract award decision expected around 3 June 2026. Residents are encouraged to view the plans and cast their vote to help decide which of the three designs will be built.
