Business owners in Folkestone, Kent, are being invited to the Kent AI Conference on June 24, 2026, to learn how new technology can help their companies grow and cut costs. The event, which takes place at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, will feature sessions on practical tools and networking opportunities for local firms.

Global technology company Microsoft and local firm Select Technology were confirmed as the main sponsors on February 19, 2026. Organised by the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, the conference is designed for business leaders and managers rather than technical experts.

Tudor Price, the CEO of the chamber, said the meeting is a chance for local firms to learn how to use these new tools in a practical and responsible way. Attendees will focus on real-world ways to use technology to boost productivity and help them cut operational costs.

The gathering aligns with a national programme aimed at giving 10 million workers new digital skills by 2030. Every adult in the country is currently eligible for free training through the government-backed AI Skills Hub to help them stay competitive in the changing economy.
