Haverhill residents are invited to attend the town’s tenth annual Armed Forces Day celebration, which will take place on Saturday, 27 June 2026. This free community event, organised by Haverhill Town Council, will run from 11am until 2:30pm at Market Square and the Haverhill Arts Centre.

The day of activities will begin with a military vehicle convoy departing from the Arts Centre car park at 11am. The convoy is set to arrive at Market Square at approximately 11:20am, where attendees can enjoy a variety of entertainment and stalls. Live music will be provided throughout the event by the Glenmoriston Pipe Band and the Haverhill Silver Band.

In addition to the musical performances, the event will feature stalls hosted by several organisations, including the Royal British Legion, the Veterans’ Breakfast Club, and local history groups. These groups will be on hand to offer information and support, highlighting the town’s ongoing commitment to honouring its armed forces community.

This local gathering coincides with the national Armed Forces Day celebrations, which are also occurring on the weekend of 27 and 28 June 2026. While Haverhill hosts its community event, the official national flagship programme will be held in Aldershot and Farnborough.
