Haverhill Rovers Exit County Cup After Penalty Shootout

On Tuesday, 17 March 2026, Haverhill Rovers FC were knocked out of the Suffolk Premier Cup semi-final in Haverhill, Suffolk. The local team played to a 2-2 draw against league leaders Felixstowe & Walton United FC but eventually lost the match 5-4 in a penalty shootout.

The game was a close contest against a side that currently competes in a higher football division. Following the result, the club thanked the community for their support and noted that the players’ hard-fought performance deserved a better outcome.

Manager Ben Cowling and the squad will now prepare for their next fixture following the end of this cup run. The team will travel away to face Fakenham on Saturday, 21 March 2026.
