The EpiCentre is set to host a range of workshops and events during the 2026 Haverhill Science Festival, which runs from 20 April to 25 April in Haverhill. The programme aims to connect local residents, entrepreneurs, and businesses with opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Organised by the ONE Haverhill Partnership, the festival returns for its second year with the goal of promoting local training opportunities and highlighting the town as an ideal location for science and technology companies. The EpiCentre, a business and innovation facility located at Haverhill Research Park, is participating to support these community aims.

The week at The EpiCentre includes a branding workshop for local businesses on 21 April, followed by a networking breakfast featuring KluraLabs, a local materials science company, on 22 April. On 23 April, Thermo Fisher Scientific will hold a technology showcase at the centre. The week concludes on 24 April with a gaming session and a digital clinic for adults, hosted by the Cambridge Online Learning Community.

According to Helen Earl, centre manager at The EpiCentre, the festival is a natural opportunity to showcase the facility’s combination of laboratory space and business support. Since Earl took on the role in November 2024, the centre has seen significant growth, with the number of tenant businesses increasing from 35 to 54. The facility, which was funded by West Suffolk Council and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, serves as a hub for early-stage companies and professional development in the region.

Residents and business owners interested in attending these events can find further information and booking details on The EpiCentre website.
