The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated Continuity Health Care Services PVT Limited in Hinckley, Leicestershire, as inadequate and placed the agency into special measures. This decision, announced on February 12, 2026, follows an inspection that found the provider failed to ensure safe and consistent care for people using the service.

Inspectors found the agency breached five regulations related to safe care and treatment, medicines management, staffing, dignity and respect, and good governance. In one instance, a person missed ten doses of their prescribed medication due to poor management and a lack of oversight.

The service supports 82 adults who live with physical disabilities, dementia, or mental health conditions in their own homes. Relatives reported feeling anxious because staff members were sometimes early or late, left shifts early, or missed scheduled care visits entirely.

The agency also failed to complete risk assessments or care plans for some people before their care actually started. The provider must now show widespread improvement or face further action, which could include having its registration cancelled.
