Residents in Hinckley, Leicestershire, can expect a break from the damp weather as temperatures are set to rise and skies clear this week. According to the Met Office, the area will see a transition from an overcast Monday, 16 March 2026, to much warmer and sunnier conditions by the middle of the week.

After a cloudy start on Monday, the cloud is expected to break up to allow for sunny spells to develop in the afternoon. Temperatures will then climb steadily, reaching 15°C on Tuesday before hitting a peak of 17°C on Wednesday, 18 March 2026.

The middle of the week will bring long sunny periods and light winds, making it feel warm during the day although it may turn chilly at night. This settled spell marks a significant change from the recent damp and overcast weather seen across the town.

Following the peak on Wednesday, the weather will stay relatively mild with 15°C expected on Thursday. As the week draws to a close, temperatures will moderate to between 11°C and 12°C over the weekend with continued sunny intervals.
