Hinckley’s OctoBIDfest returns to Regent Street on Saturday, 10 October 2026, bringing a new Country Music theme to the town centre festival. Organised by Hinckley BID in partnership with The Clarence and Baton Rouge, the event runs from 2pm to 10pm and features two stages of live performances, street food vendors, and local pop-up bars.
Moko, Don Fenticas, Electric Chapel, and other hospitality businesses along Regent Street will also take part. Visitors are encouraged to wear German or Western-themed costumes, with prizes for the best dressed. The road will close from 9am to midnight to create a safe, traffic-free space.
The festival builds on last year’s inaugural Oktoberfest, held on 11 October 2025, which followed a similar format with live music and street food. Hinckley BID, a not-for-profit operating since 2009, now represents more than 400 businesses and serves a catchment area of 55,000 residents. The organisation runs a year-round programme of events, including the annual Motor Show and Christmas Market, with OctoBIDfest now a regular highlight of the autumn calendar.
Helen Crouch, BID Manager, oversees the team that coordinates the festival alongside Events Manager Hannah O’Dell.
