Kirklees College will host an open day at its Huddersfield Centre on June 30, 2026, to help local residents explore their education options. The event will take place in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with the last entry for visitors at 6:30 pm.
The session is designed for people of all ages, including young people leaving school and adults looking for new skills or apprenticeships. Visitors can tour the facilities, which include science laboratories, a gym, and a mock hospital ward used for training health and social care workers.
Several other specialist centres in the area will also be open to the public during the same time on June 30, 2026. These locations include the Taylor Hill Animal Centre, the Engineering Centre, and the Brunel Construction Centre.
Under the leadership of Principal Palvinder Singh, the college currently serves more than 10,000 students. Staff will be present at the event to talk about different subjects and give advice on how to apply for courses for the upcoming year.
