West Yorkshire Police officers carried out a targeted police operation in Huddersfield town centre, West Yorkshire, on 17 March 2026. The work was part of a plan to make the streets safer for people using local bars and restaurants during the night.
During the operation, officers arrested six people and seized around 30 wraps of suspected drugs. This crackdown focused on stopping drug dealing and anti-social behaviour that often increases during weekend evening hours.
