The annual Forknight food festival is returning to Ipswich this month, offering residents special dining deals at around 50 town centre venues. The two-week event, which runs from 15 to 31 May 2026, aims to highlight the diverse range of local food options while encouraging more visitors to support town centre businesses.

Organised by Ipswich Central, the initiative features a variety of promotions for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and evening meals. Diners will be able to enjoy a wide range of menus, including British pub classics as well as European, American, and Asian-inspired cuisine. Residents can browse the full list of participating venues and available offers on the All About Ipswich website beginning on the morning of 15 May.

To redeem these discounts, customers are asked to quote “Forknight” when placing their orders at participating locations. This campaign marks the second year the event has run since it was revived in 2025 following a six-year break.

Lee Walker, Chief Executive Officer of Ipswich Central, stated that the festival serves to highlight the incredible variety of food available throughout the town centre. The event looks to build on the success of last year’s campaign, which saw popular spots such as The Greyhound and Moto Pizza attract significant interest from new customers.
