Families in Kirkby, Merseyside, can book small-group sessions to meet exotic animals this coming weekend, Saturday February 1 and Sunday February 2, 2026. Party Central Wildlife Experience Ltd is hosting the visits to provide children with a hands-on way to learn about different species.
Owners and operators Scott and Leanne Gavin are keeping the groups small to ensure the experience is educational and calm for the animals. To book a place, the company asks residents to send a direct message via its social media pages (the organisers have directed people to their Facebook page).
The family’s collection includes a wide variety of creatures such as meerkats, skunks, owls, and a 12-foot Burmese python called Sunny. Visitors can also see spiders and lizards that the family keeps at their base, which the family has previously referred to as the ‘Jungle Room’ on the Kirkby Industrial Estate.
The Gavins began the wildlife venture after appearing on Channel 5’s The Great British Benefit Handout in 2016; the company Party Central Wildlife Experience Ltd was incorporated on 16 January 2020. The family says it now looks after more than 120 animals. While the team often takes a selection of animals to private parties, these weekend sessions are intended to let local people see the wider collection in one place.
