A free photography social for 16 to 30-year-olds living, working or studying in Luton will open its doors at Marsh House Community Centre on Wednesday, 10 June 2026. Running from 17:30 to 19:30, Snappy Hour promises hands-on time with DSLR cameras under the guidance of local photographers Montell and Att10tive, with free food included.

The evening is designed for complete beginners as well as those who want to sharpen their skills. Cameras are provided so attendees can jump straight into experimenting with light, focus and composition in small groups, with advice from two photographers who know Luton’s creative scene first-hand. Food is laid on and a sign-up form lets people flag any dietary requirements in advance.

Snappy Hour is run by Revoluton Arts as part of The Makers Series, a monthly workshop programme backed by Arts Council England and aimed squarely at young creatives aged 16–30. The venue on Bramingham Road is a five-minute walk from Leagrave Station, putting it within easy reach for young people across the town. The wider series builds towards a young people’s takeover of PLATFORM—Revoluton’s scratch night—at Marsh House later in 2026, making the photography social both a relaxed introduction to a camera and a stepping stone into Luton’s creative community.
