A fundraising concert in Luton will bring together local musicians and the community on 9 May 2026 to support young adults living with multiple sclerosis. The event, titled Shake and Shuffle Live, will take place at the Hat Factory Arts Centre from 7pm to 11pm, with all proceeds donated to the charity MS Together.
MS Together provides social and mental health support for people aged 18 to 35 who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. According to the charity, there are currently over 150,000 people living with the condition across the UK. With more than 150 new diagnoses occurring every week, and over 2,500 of those affected each year falling into the 18 to 35 age range, it remains the most common disabling neurological condition among young adults.
The fundraising evening will be hosted at the arts centre, which is operated by The Culture Trust Luton. The venue, located at 65 Bute Street, features a gig space known as The Factory Floor, as well as a studio theatre and bar area.
Attendees can look forward to performances by several Luton-based acts, including singer-songwriter SK & The Kings and rising artist The Looted Youth. The night will also feature a DJ set from DARK PARTY. All money raised from the event will go directly toward the work carried out by MS Together to ensure young adults do not have to face the challenges of the condition alone.
