The University of Bedfordshire in Luton, Bedfordshire, is opening its doors for two on-campus open days on April 25 and July 8, 2026. These events allow local applicants, parents, and school staff to meet teaching teams and learn about the different courses available for the upcoming academic year.

Visitors can take guided tours of the campus facilities, including the seven-storey library and the 40 million pound science and technology building. Staff will also run dedicated clinics to help people navigate the UCAS application process and understand how to apply for student loans and other financial support.

The university aims to reach 25 per cent of local students through these events as part of a wider effort to support economic growth in the region. According to the Luton Borough Council, the university is a key part of the town’s long-term vision to improve local education and career opportunities.

These sessions follow recent national rankings that placed the university first in the East of England for learning opportunities. A spokesperson for the Bedfordshire Students’ Union said the team is ready to help every new student get the most out of their university experience from the moment they first arrive on campus.
