By early February 2026 Luton’s main shopping centre in Bedfordshire has completed its transition to the new identity, Luton Point. The final phase of the rebranding saw remaining signage rolled out across the centre and a refreshed website launched to mark a new chapter for the town’s principal retail hub.

Frasers Group bought the site for £58 million in 2023 and has been working on a phased programme of changes since the initial name switch in mid-2024. The rebrand is intended to move the venue away from its previous identity as The Mall and to align the centre with broader plans to modernise Luton town centre.

The Luton Point identity is built around a “community point” approach: Frasers is positioning some of its premium brands alongside established anchors. Industry reporting says the project aims to refresh the tenant mix while retaining well-known retailers such as Primark, Boots and TK Maxx.

Centre director Roy Greening told local media that the early signage at the Atrium overlooking St George’s Square signals a fresh outlook for the future. The rebrand also places emphasis on the Luton Indoor Market, which is reported to continue hosting more than 70 independent traders within the building.

Many long-standing residents still refer to the building by its original Arndale name, but the new Luton Point branding is now visible across the centre’s main entrances. Owners say the updated look is intended to help the centre better integrate with other local regeneration projects, including the planned Power Court development and stadium.
