Man Charged With Attempted Murder Following Luton Stabbing

A 26-year-old man from Luton, Bedfordshire, has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing on Guildford Street. The attack happened shortly after 2am on 7 March 2026 and left a man in his 20s with life-threatening injuries.

According to Bedfordshire Police, Camron De Silva-Allen, of Moulton Rise, was arrested the day after the incident. He has now been charged with attempted murder as well as the possession of Class A and Class B drugs with the intent to supply them.

The victim is currently in hospital where his condition is described as stable. De Silva-Allen appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on 9 March 2026 and has been kept in custody while the investigation continues.

Detective Chief Inspector Tanya Shotbolt said that weapons and violence have no place in the county and that officers are working hard to keep the public safe. The police are also focusing on community safety through their ongoing work to stop knife crime in the area.
