Residents in Middlesbrough who rely on the Middlesbrough Foodbank are being advised to plan ahead for the upcoming Easter bank holiday weekend, as the charity has announced changes to its operating hours. The organisation will close key distribution centres and its main warehouse over the holiday period, with all services expected to resume as normal on Tuesday 7 April 2026.

According to the Middlesbrough Foodbank, the Holy Trinity distribution centre will be closed on Good Friday, 3 April 2026. Additionally, both the St Barnabas distribution centre and the main warehouse will be closed on Easter Monday, 6 April 2026.

Those who need to collect food parcels via the voucher referral system should ensure they make arrangements before these dates, as the centres will be unable to process vouchers while closed. Residents are encouraged to check the organisation’s website for any further updates regarding service availability.
