Two Arrested After Stabbing Incident in Middlesbrough

Two people have been arrested following a stabbing on Parliament Road in Middlesbrough that left a 27-year-old man injured. Cleveland Police were alerted to the incident by the North East Ambulance Service around 12:30am on Saturday 16 May 2026.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment after suffering non-life threatening stab wounds and has since been discharged. Following the attack, police officers arrested a 51-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Both individuals have been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
