Bletchley Leisure Centre in Buckinghamshire is offering a free 12-week personalised fitness programme to help residents start or get back into regular exercise. The initiative, known as Fitter Faster, provides one-to-one coaching and tailored workout plans to help participants reach their personal health goals.

Residents who sign up will work directly with a Health & Fitness Coach to create a plan that fits their needs, such as losing weight or building strength. According to the Bletchley Leisure Centre website, coaches provide a gym induction and regular one-to-one appointments, with progress reviews around 4–6 weeks and ongoing check-ins throughout the 12-week programme to help people stay on target. The centre’s information notes the free 12-week coaching and personalisation is available to current Health & Fitness members; standard facility access may still require membership or pay-as-you-go entry.

The programme sits alongside a wider Milton Keynes City Council scheme that has secured almost £3m of new investment to improve leisure facilities across the area. Serco Leisure and MORE Leisure Community Trust (MLCT) operate Bletchley Leisure Centre on behalf of the council; the pair have managed the centre since November 2024 and the council published details of the nearly £3m investment and long-term arrangements in January 2026.

The coaching programme also supports Milton Keynes City Council’s Sport Strategy 2025-30, which aims to make exercise more accessible for everyone. By offering professional coaching and tailored plans at no extra charge, the centre aims to reduce the financial barriers associated with private personal training for those who are eligible for the free programme.

Local people can join the programme by visiting Bletchley Leisure Centre on Princes Way, Bletchley (MK2 2HQ), or by signing up through the centre’s official website. The scheme is designed to provide a simple, supported pathway for residents to improve their long-term physical health.
