Emergency crews have been working to extinguish a major barn fire in Little Brickhill, near Milton Keynes, after the blaze broke out on the afternoon of 29 April 2026. The Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident began at 3:47 pm, with the fire affecting a detached building used for storing tools and timber.
At the height of the operation, 14 fire appliances were at the scene to combat the flames. The response included crews from West Ashland, Broughton, Bedfordshire, Newport Pagnell, Olney, Aylesbury, and Winslow. Support was also provided by the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
