Bletchley Leisure Centre is making a splash with its first-ever Big Splash Weekend on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June 2026. The Princes Way venue will open from 7am to 7pm both days, filling its eight-lane, 25-metre pool with free taster lessons, family swims with floats and balls, and timed splash sessions designed to build water confidence in children while giving local families quality time together.

Saturday’s timetable includes a Swim School Gala for advanced swimmers between midday and 1pm, followed by splash sessions at 2pm and 3pm. A further splash session runs at 2pm on Sunday. The programme pitches itself at complete beginners right up to competitive swimmers, with instructors on hand to lead free taster lessons for those new to the water.

Booking is open via the Bletchley Leisure Centre online timetable or by contacting reception directly. Residents simply need to pick a slot and turn up for what the centre bills as a full weekend of water-based family entertainment.

The leisure centre has been pushing several community wellness drives lately, including a “Swimming Lessons on Us Till June” offer that lets new members join for £1 and receive free swimming lessons until June. The Big Splash Weekend continues that push, adding a splash of excitement before the school holidays.
