Fire crews from Broughton and Newport Pagnell stopped a bus fire on Marsh End Road in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, in early March 2026. The emergency teams arrived quickly to find the vehicle had already been emptied of passengers.

Everyone on board the bus managed to get off safely before the firefighters arrived at the scene. According to the Milton Keynes Community Hub, there were no injuries reported during the incident.

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service used two sets of breathing equipment and a hose reel to extinguish the fire. The blaze originally started in the engine compartment at the back of the vehicle.

Local residents who saw the incident confirmed the vehicle was an Uno bus. The road was temporarily affected while recovery teams towed the damaged vehicle away from the area.
