Children can make wooden spoon ladybirds and bees for free at centre:mk this Saturday, 30 May 2026. The monthly Bright Ideas Kids Club runs from 11am to 4pm at Door 1, outside M&S Food Hall, with all materials provided.

A nature theme guides May’s craft, letting little ones turn ordinary spoons into colourful bugs to take home. Parents and carers need only bring their children along, as no booking is required for the drop-in activity set up next to the food hall entrance.

The centre:mk confirmed the Kids Club will continue throughout 2026 with fresh ideas each month. June brings Craft a Coral Reef on 27 June, followed by Rockets and Moonscapes in July, a Colourful Carnival Mask in August, and Scarecrow Puppets or Masks in September.

Standard safety rules apply for all children and babies, who must stay with an adult at all times and cannot be left unattended, even when sleeping. The centre encourages families to return month after month to try the changing creative themes.
