Firefighters from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service were called to a fire involving a large tent in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, during the early hours of 5 March 2026. The incident happened at 1:39 am at Frobisher Gate in the Newlands area.

Two fire engines from the Broughton Fire Station were sent to the scene to deal with the blaze. The marquee, which measured roughly 10 metres by 30 metres, was partly damaged before crews could get the flames under control.

Firefighters used a single hose reel jet to put out the fire and managed to limit the damage to around 20 per cent of the structure. Once the flames were extinguished, the crews worked to ensure the site was safe for the community.

Thames Valley Police were also told about the fire as part of the standard emergency response. While the incident caused emergency activity in the neighbourhood during the night, there were no reports of wider disruption to the city.
