On 25 February 2026, the schools regulator Ofsted published a new inspection listing for Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Fenny Stratford in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This update gives local families new information about the quality of care and safety at the nursery following a series of regulatory checks over the last year.
The nursery, located at 11-13 Watling Street in Bletchley, has enough space to care for around 64 children. During 2025, Ofsted stepped in three separate times to take action after receiving complaints or concerns about the setting.
These specific checks took place on 3 March, 21 July, and 13 October 2025. Before these issues were raised, the nursery held a rating of Good from its last full inspection which took place on 30 May 2024.
The parent company, Ashbourne Day Nurseries Limited, runs many childcare sites across the country. The group has seen other locations receive lower ratings recently, with company leaders previously noting that a lack of government funding has made it harder to run their services.
This new report is intended to help parents in the community compare the nursery against other local options. It provides an independent look at how the provider has responded to previous recommendations regarding staff practice and child safety.
