Thames Valley Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify after an attempted bicycle theft and assault in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. At around 1:50pm on 2 March 2026, a man in his thirties tried to stop someone from taking a bike from the racks outside Milton Keynes College on Chaffron Way.
The person trying to take the bicycle reacted by punching the man and attempting to hit him a second time. The attacker then fled the area without the bike because of the victim’s resistance.
The victim suffered minor injuries during the struggle but did not need to go to the hospital. Detective Constable Tony Miles is asking anyone who recognises the man in the image to come forward to help with the investigation.
