Thames Valley Police are asking for help from the public after a group of men tried to rob a motorcyclist in Tyringham, Buckinghamshire, on Wednesday, 18 March 2026. The incident happened between 6:10pm and 6:30pm as the rider was travelling over the historic bridge near the A422 junction.

The motorcyclist was riding over the bridge that runs between the village and the B526 junction when he was attacked by a group of males. Officers have described the suspects as white men who are between 18 and 20 years old.

Investigators are particularly keen to speak with the drivers of two specific cars, a white Peugeot 308 and a black BMW X1, who may have seen what happened. They are also asking for any dashcam footage from people who were driving along that stretch of road during the early evening.

The Rural Milton Keynes Neighbourhood Policing Team is currently looking into the report. While the area is typically quiet, local records show that violence and theft were the most common crimes reported in this part of Milton Keynes at the start of the year.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity or has information can send a report through the Thames Valley Alert system or call 101. You should mention the case reference number 43260133623 when making a report.
