Bletchley Leisure Centre has issued a travel warning for visitors starting 11 February 2026, as a major road closure in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, is expected to cause delays. A section of Princes Way — the main access road to the centre — is closed to through traffic between Saxon Street and Dynasty Drive.

The closure is part of works being carried out by Milton Keynes City Council to support the Bletchley Transport Hub and wider public-realm improvements, including new pedestrian crossings and redway (cycle path) links. Leisure centre officials are advising visitors to allow an extra 15–20 minutes for journeys so they do not miss booked sessions.

According to a notice from Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council, the work is expected to be finished by 6 May 2026. While Princes Way is closed, the official diversion route is via Saxon Street, Watling Street, Victoria Road and Queensway (and vice versa).

The closure forms part of the Groundbreaking Bletchley Town Deal regeneration programme funded by the Town Deal (approximately 2.7 million) and is being implemented by Milton Keynes City Council as part of the Bletchley Transport Hub Project. Visitors who usually use the leisure centre’s on-site parking may need to use alternative parking at the Brunel Shopping Centre if access to the site is restricted during busy periods.
