Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, will host a major 1940s heritage weekend on June 13 and June 14, 2026. This two-day community event will turn the historic site into a living museum with live music, dancing, and family activities.

Visitors can expect to see historical vehicle parades and costumed re-enactors demonstrating wartime life. Vintage music acts (for example, Jeep Jump Jive) traditionally play swing and big-band music at the weekend, and there will be opportunities to learn period dance styles such as swing.

The Bletchley Park Trust organises the weekend to celebrate the site’s history. 2026 marks the 85th anniversary of the 1941 captures of Enigma material (notably from the trawler Lauenburg and U‑110) that enabled the reading of German Naval signals. Iain Standen, Chief Executive Officer of Bletchley Park Trust, said: “The 1940s Weekend allows us to bring those stories to life in a way that static displays simply cannot.”

The festival will use the entire 26-acre site, including the Fellowship Auditorium and the Block E Learning Centre, completed as part of a a313 million redevelopment (completed October 2023). Tickets are available through the Trust’s official “What’s On” page; admission tickets and annual/friend passes are available, and the Trust’s ticketing typically allows return visits for 12 months for the ticket or pass holder.
