Amazon has started hiring for 20 new full-time roles at its new warehouse in Northampton, Northamptonshire. The positions are being filled as the company prepares to open its £500 million site at the SEGRO Logistics Park near the M1.
According to the Amazon jobs website, the current vacancies include 17 roles in maintenance and building care. There are also three openings for administrative support staff to help with the day-to-day running of the facility as it moves toward opening.
This local recruitment drive follows an announcement in January 2026 that the company plans to close its warehouse in Milton Keynes. As part of that change, 590 workers from the closing site were given the chance to move to this new building in Northampton.
The new warehouse is expected to eventually provide jobs for about 2,000 people, starting with roughly 1,400 during the first phase of opening. These new listings offer a chance for local residents to find steady work as the facility gets ready to start operations in the community.
