A 21-year-old Norwich man faces drug production and supply charges after police uncovered a cannabis grow worth more than £200,000 on Bluebell Road. Norfolk Constabulary said officers acting on enquiries found multiple bags of pre-packaged cultivated cannabis at the property on Tuesday 7 July 2026.

Ervin Peposhi, of Bluebell Road, was arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning before being charged with producing a class B drug, possession with intent to supply a class B drug, and possession of a class A drug — cocaine. He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 8 July and was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing on 5 August.

The seizure is the latest in a string of significant cannabis discoveries across the county. In June, Norfolk Police announced that a multi-agency operation known as Operation Silent had uncovered a £1.5 million cannabis grow in Kessingland, Suffolk, leading to three men pleading guilty to involvement in production. Other Norwich finds include a £324,000 cultivation on Dereham Road and roughly 300 plants seized from a Kings Street property.

The pre-packaged nature of the cannabis found on Bluebell Road suggests the property was being used as a distribution hub rather than just a growing site. Norfolk Police have previously linked such drug operations to organised criminal networks, including those involved in modern slavery and illegal employment.
