A one-day event called Nourish is returning to The Forum Norwich in Norfolk on Wednesday 1 April 2026 to showcase local food and drink producers. The event, which runs from 9am to 5pm, combines a conference for business owners with a public market featuring local artisanal treats. It provides an opportunity for residents to meet local makers and learn about the trends shaping what we eat and drink.
The Tastebuds Collective, a non-profit group that supports more than 1,000 businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk, is organising the event for its second year. The 2025 conference featured experts from Jimmy’s Farm and the University of East Anglia who spoke about new ways to make and sell food. Organisers expect this year to be even larger as more small business owners look for ways to work together.
The event is part of a growing calendar of local celebrations, including the recently launched Norwich Food Week by the Norwich BID. According to the Norwich Research Park, the region is one of the most important areas in Europe for food research. This community interest is supported by organisations like the Broadland Food Innovation Centre, which helps local producers grow their businesses.
Visitors to the market can expect to find a variety of items from local makers, including products from companies like Woodforde’s Brewery. The venue usually sees about 35,000 people pass through its doors every week, making it a central spot for residents to discover new local brands. The event aims to highlight the rich history of the area, which has a long tradition of producing food and drink dating back many centuries.
