The first-ever Norwich Food Week has launched today, 27 February 2026, to celebrate the city’s local dining scene in Norwich. This ten-day event brings together more than 40 different businesses including cafes, bars, and restaurants to showcase the area’s food and drink.
Organised by the Norwich Business Improvement District and Visit Norwich, the festival runs until 8 March 2026. Residents can visit a wide range of venues, from historic market stalls to high-end dining rooms.
Participating spots include local favourites like the Grosvenor Fish Bar, Saporita, and Benedicts. Other well-known eateries taking part in the week include The Last Wine Bar and Restaurant.
The event aims to help local businesses during the late winter period by encouraging people to try new places through special menus and discounts. At the Maids Head Hotel, the WinePress Restaurant is serving a specific menu designed by Head Chef Ali that uses ingredients from local suppliers.
By focusing on local producers and chefs, the week highlights the relationship between the city’s kitchens and the wider farming community. This celebration is intended to support independent business owners and provide an economic boost to the city.
