Norwich City secured a place in the FA Cup fifth round on February 14, 2026, after a 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at Carrow Road in Norfolk. The result allows the team to move into the final sixteen of the competition alongside some of the biggest clubs in the country. This victory gives local fans more high-profile matches to look forward to as the season continues.

Australian striker Mohamed Toure confirmed the win with a header during stoppage-time at the end of the match. This was the fifth goal in three games for the 21-year-old player, who came on as a substitute during the second half. The game also featured a long run by young playmaker Oscar Schwartau to help create scoring chances after West Bromwich Albion had earlier levelled the score through Josh Maja.

This is the first time the club has reached this stage of the tournament while playing outside the top league since the 2006-2007 season. Head coach Philippe Clement joined the club in November 2025 and has now led the team to seven wins in their last eight matches. The successful cup run is expected to provide the club with extra matchday revenue and increased interest across the city.

The draw for the next round takes place on February 16, 2026, and will include teams such as Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City. According to official FA Cup records, these matches are set to be played in early March. Fans are now waiting to see which major opponent the club will face next in the competition.
