The Norwich Science Festival will return to Norwich, Norfolk, from Saturday 14 to Saturday 21 February 2026. This year marks the festival’s 10th anniversary and it coincides with the regional school half-term break.

The festival is based at The Forum and is expected to draw over 130,000 visits to the festival. Presented by The Forum (The Forum Trust) in partnership with the University of East Anglia and Norwich Research Park, organisers have put together a programme of more than 200 events.

Visitors can explore a free interactive zone called The Explorium or watch performances at a new outdoor Atom Stage. The week also includes science cabaret for adults, hands-on workshops for children, and talks from experts on topics ranging from technology to nature.

The event helps local businesses by bringing more people into the city during the winter and aims to inspire curiosity about science. While the festival has grown significantly since it began in 2016, a large number of the activities remain free for the public to attend.
