The Ashmolean Museum will host its free One World Family Festival in Oxford, Oxfordshire, on February 14 and February 15, 2026. This weekend event aims to bring together the local community and various faith groups through a series of activities focused on the theme of nature.

Visitors can attend the museum between 11:00 and 16:00 to take part in hands-on workshops like Chinese calligraphy and making eco-friendly lanterns. The festival will also feature live performances, including traditional Nepalese dance and Moroccan storytelling, held across different floors of the building.

This year the museum is working with the Oxford Council of Faiths and local community groups to run the sessions. The nature theme also serves as a preview for a major upcoming exhibition at the museum called In Bloom: How Plants Changed Our World.

The festival provides local families with low-cost options for entertainment during the school half-term break. Organisers have designed the activities to be inclusive for all ages while highlighting how different cultures and religions connect with the environment.
