On Friday 13 March 2026, Oxford United Football Club released a new limited-edition football kit for supporters in Oxford, Oxfordshire. The “In Bloom” shirt was created in partnership with the Ashmolean Museum to celebrate the city’s artistic history and its famous university museum.

The design of the shirt, produced by official technical partner Macron, is based on a piece of art called ‘Study of Wild Rose’ by John Ruskin. Ruskin was a well-known Victorian writer and artist who served as the first Slade Professor of Fine Art at the University of Oxford, maintaining strong professional and academic links to the city.

The launch of the kit marks the upcoming opening of a major new exhibition at the museum called ‘In Bloom: How Plants Changed Our World.’ This exhibition will be open to the public from 19 March 2026 and will run until 16 August 2026.

Club officials say the shirts have been produced in extremely limited numbers, making them a rare item for fans to own. The men’s first team is set to wear the special kit during matches throughout the summer of 2026.

The shirt features the logo for Baxi, the club’s Principal Partner, positioned below the iconic ox head team crest. Local supporters can now purchase the item through the club’s official shop at the Kassam Stadium and via its online retail channels.
