Oxford United lost 3-0 to Norwich City on 10 February 2026 in a home match at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford, Oxfordshire.

The home side struggled to create clear chances and could not turn possession into goals, while Norwich were clinical — Mohamed Touré opened the scoring inside the first minute, added a second on 19 minutes and completed a hat-trick early in the second half. Oxford’s head coach, Matt Bloomfield, said after the game that he “takes responsibility” and that the side “got things wrong”, calling for the team to learn from errors and be more effective in key moments.

The defeat leaves Oxford in a precarious league position as they seek consistency across the winter months and makes a late-season climb in the table more difficult.

Supporters remain focused both on results on the pitch and on the club’s longer-term move to a new stadium. The club is progressing proposals for a 16,000-capacity, all-electric stadium at The Triangle in Kidlington; Oxfordshire County Council and the club have been negotiating terms and the planning process is ongoing.

Oxford United’s ownership is led by Indonesian investors Anindya Bakrie and Erick Thohir, who are overseeing the transition to the new venue. The club has agreed to make at least £5.1 million in S106/infrastructure contributions tied to the stadium project, including funds earmarked for local transport and pedestrian/cycling improvements.
