Thames Valley Police has released images of a man they want to identify following a report of criminal damage on Cowley Road in Oxford, Oxfordshire. The incident took place at approximately 3:40 am on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

According to officers, a man punched a window at a local property, which caused the glass to crack. He then threw an empty beer keg at the building before leaving the area.

Investigating officer PC Daniel Squires is leading the search and believes the man in the pictures has vital information about the case. This investigation is part of wider efforts to manage crime in the neighbourhood, where 175 incidents were reported in December 2025.

Oxford City Council is also working on new plans to reduce anti-social behaviour in busy community hubs like Cowley. Local officers are hopeful that identifying the suspect will help prevent further vandalism and reassure people living nearby.

Anyone who recognises the man or has doorbell, dashcam, or mobile phone footage is asked to contact the police. Information can be shared by quoting the reference number 43260065580.
